PRAISE FOR "THE REALITY BEHIND THE ILLUSION"
"What a great way to tell a powerful story. This book tells a story of a little girl that had to grow up too fast. Many women will relate and sadly many men will see themselves in the characters. This book is a must read it's a sad but realistically story that happens much too often." - Zenella Strickland
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Shondale Wilhite began writing poetry at a young age and kept a journal. She found that writing was the best way for her to express her feelings. Her mom would give her brief details of someone she wanted to give a poem, and Shondale would let her imagination flow. She has written many poems for loved ones and several have been printed in obituaries and recited at open mic poetry events. She has also competed in spoken word competitions and placed in the top three. Her first book, The Reality Behind the Illusion inspired her to tell her truths about a widespread epidemic of abuse and its generational curse line that has to be broken.
